New TS Liga Team, the Panthers, won their first game on the last day of the season with a 2-4 victory over the Tigers.
Panthers opened the scoring with Kayode slotting in a cool finish past Tigers’ makeshift goalkeeper, Toyeeb Fatai. Chineme Nwobu added a second when his cross from the left side went in after hitting the woodwork. Panthers Captain, Franklin Chibueze scored a sublime effort resulting from a counter attack.
Kayode’s movement and passing was a difficult for the Tigers to handle and he set up midfielder Louis Ogbeide with a through pass for the fourth goal.
The Tigers had a goal in each half, courtesy Ifeanyi Unegbu, who has returned to the side after a period break.
