Turf Season Scouting Game 34 was full of twists and turns, and of course, excitement and goals.
Ryan Ojiba was injured within the first minute of the game but that did not stop the Blacks from taking the lead with a classic finish as Sanctus Agbo latched on to Uche Okere’s pass to fire in the opener.
The Greens hit back with two goals to justify their numeral superiority, as the Blacks were down to 10 men following Ryan’s injury setback. Sampson Arinze met Olawale Quadri’s through pass to slot pass Israel Adeoye, the Blacks Keeper, one on one. Israel also proved his teammate, Jamiu Jimoh, back pass error was too much to handle, gifting the Greens an easy lead.
The bounce back did not take too long as Emmanuel Orisan scored from Damilola Adegbuyi’s assist and also provided another assist for David Duyile’s first goal of the year to take the score line to 3-2/
The damage was complete when Fatai Toheeb scored a sublime free kick to take the victory beyond the Greens.
