A delightful first-half hat-trick from Rufai Suleiman and a cosy finish from Sheriff Olanlokun ensured the Turf Season was back to winning ways. A great match indeed v Leo FC all the way from Ikorodu.
Rufai Suleiman now has 8 goals in 10 games so far. An impressive record from the young lad from Kano State.His hat trick against Leo FC makes him the first player to score 3 goals in one match for Turf Season. He’s already the all-time leading goal scorer of the team.
Sheriff Olanlokun, University of Lagos Science Undergraduate, added to his tally to make it 3 goals this season. Sheriff has been in fine form for the Turf Season, contributing goals and assists with incredible work rate. He also scored a wonder goal against Alpha FC last month, an impossible chip in the far right corner after busting through the left wing, set free by a sublime pass from Rufai.
The boys will be hoping to repeat their win against Leo FC with other teams as they fight for a place among the next rated football superstars in the world.
