Game 79 was yet another memorable game in the Turf Season Football Showcase series. The game was played in Lagos on November 30, 2025 and ended in a stalemate despite the attacking efforts from both sides. Many thanks to a magnificent goal keeping masterclass.
The goal keepers from both team were in top form to deny every shot fired. Excellence lived up to his name by keeping a clean sheet for the White Team. Even more impressive was Abigail who defended the goal for Team Green. Abigail made exciting saves on her Turf Season debut and also became the first female footballer ever to play for the project.
Another first was Arkane Chafii, who became the first Lebanese player to feature in Turf Season. He didn’t have much of a good game but he showed flashes of brilliance of which we can expect more of in the near future.
Turf Season is fast become a preferred platform for players to showcase their skills worldwide irrespective of gender, nationality, religion or creed.
Up next is the December 2025 in Lagos and we look forward to an exciting game filled with goals, top performances and amazing talent.
