Game 60: Team Black Enjoy Narrow Win

Game 60 of Turf Season 2024 Football Trials saw Team Black enjoy narrow win over the Tigers. Shafihi was first to score for the Tigers, taking advantage of a defensive error to chip the ball into the net for an early lead. The advantage was short-lived as Tigers conceded yet another penalty as they did in Game 59, Nneji making a careless tackle deep inside the box.

Sanctus came to the rescue for the Tigers with his trademark soft finish inside the 6 yard box. However, his third goal in two games was not just enough to share the spoils. Team Black ran home winners after two beautiful goals to win the game 2-3.
