Game 46: Adetutu’s Strike Makes the Difference

Turf Season Scouting Game 46 flagged off our October 2023 Scouting Day in Lagos, Nigeria. Massive changes were made to the line-up from Game 45 4-0 thrashing. Only Kingdom retained his spot in the midfield, surrounded by players making their first debut.

It was no ‘first-time shy’ for Adetutu as the striker struck the net from close range to score on his debut. Much thanks to Adetutu’s opener goes to Godwin, whose well-placed pass found his target in ample space.

Adetutu’s goal seemed to have made all the difference, with several efforts from the Tigers failing to hit the mark. However, it is a much-needed and deserved win for the Tigers, who showed great composure and team spirit.
