Game 4 produced a four-goal thriller as The Blues defeated Team Black 3-1 to emerge as the Top Team of Turf Season July 2022 Football Scouting Day.
Joshua Mercy opened the scoring for the blues. It was a brace just after half-time with an excellent finish on a counter-attack.
Zakariah pulled one back from the penalty spot. His fifth goal in 3 Scouting Games. The Team Black No.7 also missed a sitter which could have levelled up for his side.
Yakubu Hassan scored his first career goal, a sublime header in the far right of the goal, following a deep freekick cross from Abdullahi Mubarak. Yakubu’s goal sealed the day, a well-deserved 3-1 victory for the Blues.
