It was not the end of abysmal defending when the Elites ran through the Tigers’ defenders for the Game 41 opener of Turf Season Football Scouting Open (July 2023 edition).
The Elites added 3 more goals to compound the Tigers’ defensive woes, taking their tally to four goals.
David Duyile came on as a substitute to pull one back for the Tigers, scoring from a rebound off the Elites’ veteran goalie who fumbled with Habeeb Adejumo’s shot from the right corner.
David’s consolation goal is his second of the season and will boost his confidence in the coming games.
