Game 39: Tigers Fail to Score, Maintain Clean Sheet

The Tigers failed to score in Game 39 of Turf Season 2023 Football Scouting Games held in Lagos, Nigeria on the 26th of June, 2023.

A couple of changes were made to the team that won in Game 38, with Emmanuel Orisan and Toyeeb Fatai replacing Karim Jr. and Joseph.

Turf Tigers’ opportunities to take the lead on the counter were met with abysmal finishing, and perhaps, a poor referee’s decision not to award a penalty when Uche Okere was fouled in the box.

However, the team managed to keep a clean sheet, making it two clean sheets in 2 games.
