Sanctus Agbo’s equaliser and Odukwe Bernard’s strike on his debut were enough to sink Team Green in Game 26 of the Turf Season Football Scouting Program (TS Open) played in Lagos Nigeria on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Team Blue’s Dotun Adebajo provided two beautiful assists to take his team to a 2-1 victory after they initially fell behind Team Green’s Babatunde Abdullahi’s well-taken penalty goal after Samuel Chisom was adjudged to be fouled in the box by the referee.
Team Green would bemoan injury woes for their defeat as they lost two key defenders in the heat of the game, Jamiu Jimoh and Oladega Farid, resulting in a weaker defence against the dangerous Blues.
