Salami and Ayodele are the joint top talent discovered in our June 2022 Football Trials.
Out of 30 players who participated in the June 2022 Trials, these players emerged as the top talent based on their performance stats.
This is the first time we are having two players tied in the top position with both players having the 10-point maximum rating on their debut day.
Ayodele Olamilekan played 90 minutes, scored a goal from the penalty spot as well as provided two assists from the right flank, where he played his favoured position as a right back. He also hit four shots on target and completed 61 passes as well as winning 18 tackles.
Salami Sunday, a forward, played only 45 minutes, starting from an unusual left-back position, where he made overlapping forward runs to join the attack. Salami adapted quickly and was able to hit four shots on target, completing 14 passes, losing possession only twice and attempted 16 successful tackles. His influence in the game overturned a 3-2 half-time result to a 3-5 victory for his side, The Greens.
