Despite a fantastic first-half display away at Ile-Pako Field, Agege on Matchday20 first-leg tie against the J.S. Marvelous Academy, the cards fell late in the game as we conceded a penalty which followed another counter-attack to earn the home-side a 2-0 victory.
Matchday20 was our fourth away game this season, a third loss in a row with just one win against Current F.C. at Yabatech. It was a 9v9 Match with excellent discipline and cohesion on display in Turf Season’s first competitive match since H.O.P. Academy visit on September 23, 2018. A lack of composure and poor finishing ensured it was a missed chance to take a much-needed win to improve our away record.
J.S. Marvelous will make a short-trip to the University of Lagos Sports Centre Yaba for the return leg on October 30, 2018. It will be up to us to even the score with a fine display as always.
