Matchday9: The Boys from Amsterdam FC Are Coming!

Amsterdam FC will be making a trip to Turf Season 2018 Home Ground at the University of Lagos Sports Centre this Sunday, July 8, 2018 as Matchday9 draws near.

The ground has hosted all Turf Season games every Sunday since May 13th, with only one game played away at Yaba College of Technology Sports Stadium, Matchday2 Game versus Legend FC which was sponsored by Domino’s Pizza with Super Eagles of Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup Defender, Kenneth Omeruo as Special Guest of the day.

UNILAG Sports Complex has been a great atmosphere for entertaining youth football which has produced 27 goals in the 7 games played there this 2018 season. Majority of the goals so far have come from the opposition sides who have scored a total of 16 goals compared to Turf Season’s 11 goals at the UNILAG Ground.

Hit man, Rufai Suleiman from Kano State, has scored 5 goals now  in 8 games with the latest addition a swift strike in our 1-2 loss to G Innovate FC last week. Rufai has contributed 42% of our total 12 goals this season and there seems to be no stopping our June Player of the Month.

While there are obvious problems with the team’s defense cohesion, the Turf season 2018 Squad will have to prove they’ve learnt some vital lessons as the Amsterdam FC Boys will be making the trip from Oworonshoki, Lagos with the confidence of a win. Save the date for some exciting Turf Season!
