Kemac Kicks Against Coaches, Other Stakeholders Who Blame Lagos FA For keeping Them At Home
Secretary General of Gbagada Grassroots Sports Association, Emina Kemac has lambasted football stakeholders who are blaming Lagos State Football Association and Nigeria Football Federation NFF for keeping them at home in the last six weeks.
Kemac said there is need for football stakeholders to remain indoor to avoid the deadly disease, covid-19 that is ravaging the world.
“I was shocked when I heard that some football Organisers, players and coaches want to resume training or organise football competition. I am also a stakeholder but I won’t support my colleagues to quickly resume football like that.
“We should not blame Nigeria Football Federation or Lagos Football Association for our staying at home. We should exercise patience and save life instead of rushing to play football.
Any football Organisers or stakeholders flaunt the rules should be sanctioned accordingly,” said Kemac who commended the effort of football authorities in line with government to put stop on sports activities in the last six weeks,”he said.
Turf Season Super League set to hold at Gbagada Stadium was also affected by the lockdown due to public health concerns resulting from the outbreak of COVID-19.
Turf Season Manager, Paschal Agonsi agrees with Secretary Kemac and urges everyone to stay safe. “Life indeed is boring without football. However, we will resume fully in line with government and health authorities notices. We urge everyone to exercise patience, keep fit and stay safe.”
