The Agric Football Competition is a partnership between Corporate Farmers International and Turf Season with the major objective to promote and encourage agriculture among youths using the power of football.
The role of agriculture in football is very significant. Akin Alabi (MBA), Managing Partner of Corporate Farmers International, shared some insight during the signing of the competition’s MoU with Turf Season that “the grass pitch on which football is played is a direct indicator of this relationship. The soccer boots and uniforms are products of agriculture such as cotton, leather and rubber, etc.”
